After months of anticipation, excitement and even tears, football season has finally arrived. There is no better way to enjoy all the emotions you experience while watching a game than in the warmth of your very own hot tub. You can splash around with joy when your team scores a touchdown and let the soothing jets comfort you when your team is down. Indeed, watching football is a whole new experience when you watch the games from your hot tub.

But here is the deal; you want your football experience to be even better. In order to achieve this, you need to read the following tips.

Properly Prepare for Game Day

Before your friends arrive at your home, make sure the water in your hot tub is clean and clear. Check chemical levels with testing strips to ensure all is well. It is also a good idea to inspect and clean your hot tub filters. Also, take the time to wipe down your hot tub, you don’t want to give the impression that you are a slob.

Make sure you have plenty of clean towels handy. You will notice we said clean towels, so you might want to utilize the clothes washer and dryer.

Proper Seating

If your hot tub seats six and you invited eight friends to your football bash, you will need additional seating. Set up a table and extra chairs near the hot tub and swap places every quarter so everybody gets a chance to sit in the hot tub.

Television Set-Up

You will want to make sure your television is placed perfectly so that everybody can see it. Just make sure it is far away enough from the hot tub as to not cause any problems. For situations like this, spa mounted projection televisions are a great option. You can also invest in a waterproof television shield.

Refreshments

A football game is just not the same unless there is plenty of greasy, fatty and otherwise unhealthy foods available to eat. This means stocking up on wings, nachos, ribs, burgers and anything else that will clog up your arteries.

Represent

Unless your bathing trunks have your team’s logo on them, you will need to find a way to represent your team, even if this means being a little creative. Aside from a tattoo of your team’s logo, you can buy one of those ridiculously large foam hands, a team flag or even an NFL team bath towel.
