Hot Tub Games
Hot tubs are great for families and can be a versatile way to spend time together. If it is your night to host a group of friends, having a hot tub makes it a successful night. Having your closest friends over for an evening of fun in the hot tub just wouldn’t be complete until you have played some games. The same can be said for an evening in the hot tub with your family.
Playing games in the hot tub is nothing new. Here are a few games you might want to try the next time you have friends over for a hot tub party.
Dodge the Duck
This is a simple game, all you have to do is not let the duck hit you. You need several rubber ducks to play this game, the more you have, the tougher the game. Simply toss the ducks in the hot tub and do what you can to avoid being touched by one. If one touches you, you are out. The game is played until there is only one person left in the hot tub. There can be only one!
Ping Pong Panic
This is the exact same game as Dodge the Duck, except you use ping pong balls instead of rubber ducks. Another game you can play with ping pong balls requires placing plastic cups around the edge of your hot tub. Guests then take turns tossing the balls into the cups, different cups can have different points. See how many shots you can make over a period of time or whoever makes the most shots out of 10 tries wins.
Floating Board Games
There are several different board games from checkers to chess than are able to float on the water in your hot tub. Family night in the hot tub is that much better when you break out these games that are fun for people of all ages.
Waterproof Cards
With a couple of decks of waterproof playing cards, fun in the hot tub never ends. You can play anything from Go Fish to Rummy to Poker, all great games for family night or when you have your friends over. An upside down Frisbee makes a great floating table.
Hot Tub Charades
Charades is a great game to play in the hot tub because it doesn’t require any special equipment or props. Playing charades in a hot tub poses a challenge as you can’t move around as easily.
Hot Tub Hockey
Place a rubber duck or a ping pong ball in the center of the hot tub, create two teams and sit on opposing sides. When the game starts, each team tries to get the object to touch the opposing team’s wall for a point. You can create waves or blow on the object to move it, but you cannot touch it. Splashing is allowed and actually makes the game quite fun.
Hot Tub Boat Race
Buy some plastic boats and race them from one side of the hot tub to the other by blowing on them.
And there you have it, great hot tubs games you can enjoy.
