Things to do in the Fall Before Soaking in Your Hot Tub

Inner-Page-Hero

There is a bit of a chill in the air, but the sun is still warm and golden. We have moved on from weeding the garden and watching the Giants lose to raking leaves and watching the 49ers lose.

All in all, fall is a pretty amazing time of year. The weather is perfect, the colors are spectacular and you can watch all four major sports on any given day. But the best thing about fall is when you utilize the hot tub you bought at Spa Max. Nothing beats a good soak in the hot tub in the fall, but there are a few activities that come close.

Here are a few things you need to cross off your list of fall activities to do this year.

Take Your Family Christmas Card Photo

The golden light of the sun and the outdoor background beaming with color is the perfect setting for your Christma card family photo. Most people go have it done in a studio with some generic background. But you and your family are more original than that.

Grab a photographer or lend your camera to a friend and find an exciting spot to take some pictures of the family. After a day of shooting in the woods, on a beach and in front of what you think was a haunted house, sit in your hot tub and choose which photo best represents your family and use that for your Christmas card.

If all the pictures turn out to be really bad or if your neighbor forgets to take off the lens cap, take some shots of the family sitting in the hot tub and use those.

Bake Some Apples

This is the time of year when you can visit an apple orchard and they let you pick apples for a modest price. Not only are the apples great tasting, you burn a few calories in the process. Of course, you could just sit there and enjoy the fall weather and let the kids pick apples.

Either way, you will have your fair share of apples to bring home. And whether you use those apples to make pie, applesauce or just eat them fresh, they all taste amazing while you are sitting in your hot tub that evening.

Have Breakfast in Bed

The sun rises a little later in the morning in the fall. And rather than risk stubbing your toe on the kitchen table, you should just eat breakfast in bed. Actually, eating breakfast in bed is awesome any time of year, we are just looking for an excuse to do it.

Living Room Camping

Build that basement tent from couch cushions and blankets, pull out the sleeping bags and set up camp in the living room. When the evenings cool down, fall is the time to bring your camping adventures inside.

Your family can roast hot dogs and marshmallows over the stove and play a game of “the carpet is lava” afterward.

Make a Scarecrow

Gather the whole family and make a scarecrow. You will want a really scary one as it will keep people away from your hot tub.

Walk Through Your Neighborhood with a Flashlight

The sun sets earlier and the evenings are crisp and brisk. Gather up the family and go for a walk around the neighborhood. You will need to bring a flashlight or other source of light to illuminate the way.

When you get home, put the kids to bed and enjoy a soak in your hot tub.

Throw Pumpkin Spice on Everything

Maybe that would be doing a little too much, nobody wants pumpkin spice in their Corn Flakes or on their ice cream. But there is nothing wrong with enjoying a pumpkin spice latte or a pumpkin spice beer without feeling any shame. And if someone calls you on it, tell them you have a hot tub and they don’t.

Visit a Pumpkin Patch

We don’t really know what would be so exciting about visiting a pumpkin patch. We guess it’s associated with fall and we like typing pumpkin incorrectly multiple times.

But if you do go, you can look forward to soaking in your hot tub afterward.

If you don’t have a hot tub, perhaps now is the time to buy one. Check out our selection of hot tubs today.
