Used Hot Tubs For Sale or a Truck; Making the Right Decision

Inner-Page-Hero

In life, it seems as though you can’t get through the day without having to make at least a few decisions. On good days, the decisions you make are rather minor and don’t take a whole lot of effort on your part. For example, what dressing you want on your side salad at lunch, which exit to take on the commute home and what punishment to dole out to your child for cursing in school are all pretty easy decisions to make that don’t take a lot of effort.

But there are days when the decisions you have to make are tough, tougher than the choice between ranch and Caesar. For example, the choice between which type of used hot tub you want to buy from Spa Max. You are thinking you want a four-seat hot tub, but something bigger might work better. And there are so many styles to choose. It can all be so confusing. But not to worry, we can help you sort through all of this.

Another tough decision is the type of vehicle you want to drive. Say it’s time to trade in the old Hyundai Elantra, but you aren’t sure what to get. You have been thinking about getting a pickup truck, but they are a little out of your price range. And then it dawns on you, use the money you were going to buy the hot tub with and buy a truck instead.

That is a really bad idea and we will tell you why.

Reliability

You have had the Elantra for 15 years and it has nearly 200,000 miles on it. Yet, it has given you very little trouble over the years. You have had to keep it maintained and replace things like tires, brake pads and such over the years, but really nothing that was a big deal.

Are you sure you can find a pickup truck that would be just as reliable?

Uniqueness

You want a truck in part because you want to drive something that people notice, not a Hyundai. Well, we have some bad news for you, you won’t get noticed in a truck either. You see, pickup trucks are the best selling vehicles in America, surpassing cars, which means that everybody owns own. Well, almost everyone. Just take a walk up and down your street and take notice. You can’t look far and not see a pickup in your neighbor’s driveway.

They are Thirsty

If we had to guess, we would say your Hyundai got pretty good gas mileage and it probably costs under 30 bucks to fill the tank. If you do buy that truck, brace yourself for a big surprise. A truck is going to get a heck of a lot less mileage than a car and they have bigger gas tanks so you can expect to dole out a ton of money to fill the tank with gas.

And it’s not only the gas that will drain your wallet, everything on a truck is more expensive. If you need a set of tires, you can expect to pay double what you do for car tires. Even getting a simple alignment on a truck is more expansive than on a car. This is something you really need to consider.

They Take Up Space

If you own an older home, there is the possibility that you won’t be able to fit your truck in the garage. Back in the day, trucks were strictly utilitarian vehicles used by farmers and ranchers and garages weren’t built to house them. So your truck might have to set outside all of the time.

In addition, you might have a tough time squeezing your truck into the parking spaces at your local grocery store. parking a Hyundai is a piece of cake, slipping a truck between a Subaru Impreza and Toyota Camry takes skill. You will probably wind up parking ion the back of the lot where there is more room.

Your Friends Won’t Leave You Alone

If you buy that truck, expect your friends who don’t own a truck to be calling you all of the time wanting you to help them move stuff or haul stuff around. It would be a nightmare.

Your best option is to get another Hyundai and use the money you save to get a hot tub that you can relax in. Check out what Spa Max has to offer.
